Andrew and Sandra Kerr are experienced and enthusiastic artisan breeders of exhibition standard poultry and waterfowl.
From their base at Fivemiletown, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, they supply poultry keepers and hobby breeders across the UK and Ireland with a wide range of poultry, hatching eggs, equipment and housing.

We share a passionate interest in sustaining the many colourful traditional and rare breeds of poultry. To ensure strong and healthy stock, all our homebred poultry are reared in small flocks on fresh clean grass.

We supply a wide selection of pure breeds as hatching eggs and “point of lay” poultry.
We also supply larger quantities of “point of lay” ISA brown / Lohmann hybrids and Dominant Cz coloured hybrids throughout Northern Ireland and the border counties.” Also available are a wide selection of hand crafted poultry coops each with their own traditional yet unique style.

Great Day at event held by Tyrone Farming Society - July 2022

Finally made it out to our first poultry show in about three years when we attended the event held by Tyrone Farming Society in Omagh last weekend.

As a family we try to support as many of these events as we can to showcase our interest in poultry as well as supporting the show organisers as they strive to organise a wide and varied programme of attractions for the public.

We had a good day overall with our poultry and egg entries with the highlight being awarded best large light breed with one of our white Silkie pullets.
Congratulations to all the winners on the day especially Gordon Walker who was awarded Show Champion for his beautifully presented German Langshan Trio picking up the Clogher Valley Eggs and Poultry trophy for Champion Soft Feather.
Special mention for the show organisers in particular Ryan McLaren and family for their meticulous preparation ably supported by Chief Poultry Steward Sam Hawkes. Thanks also to the judges who made the long trip from the mainland to assess all of the exhibits.

 I was wanting to set up a coup and run for chickens in my own garden. I started to search on line as I had no idea who was selling chickens. I came across a website for Clougher valley poultry. The website is so good full of valuable information for beginners like myself. Andrew is an extremely friendly man,so easy to chat with . I had emailed Andrew for a few days and asked a few questions and I asked what birds he recommended I should get. He did so and what a beautiful range of rare breed chickens he picked out for me. The amount of hens and vast variety is exceptional. He is definitely a one stop shop all the advice needed,feeders and water drinkers,big bags of shavings really good food everything I needed to get set up. His prices are very reasonable as well. What a little gem of a farm . I am so glad I found Andrew and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to any other potential chickens keepers.
